Insurance and Reimbursement
Dr. Bailey currently has contracts with the following Health Insurance plans: CIGNA, PacifiCare, Mountain Medical Affiliates, United Healthcare, Rocky Mountain HMO, Sloans Lake and MediCare (sleep apnea only). Alternate arrangements may be made with other insurance providers.
Each of these plans has specific areas for which reimbursement applies. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis once treatment is planned.
For snoring
If Sleep Apnea has been ruled out then the only option for insurance reimbursement is to submit the claim to your dental insurance carrier.
For sleep apnea
Once a formal sleep study has been done and a diagnosis has been made then the documentation can be submitted to your medical insurance carrier for pre-certification of benefits. Because Sleep Apnea is a medical condition, many companies reimburse Oral Appliances.
